Lafayette: I'm voting for Bob Barr
Jay Lafayette is an American, and he's casting his ballot for Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr
Jay Lafayette - November 3, 2008
I'm voting for Bob Barr/Wayne Alan Root.
Why?
Three reasons:
1) Republicans have stopped being conservatives. If I keep voting for them as the lesser of two evils, then that's what they will stay--lesser and evil. After all, they just have to stay a little bit less socialist than the other candidate and we'll keep voting them in.
2) Bob Barr's not a "crazy" libertarian. He doesn't want to abolish as much as cut. He stated that the first thing he would do in office is cut the executive branch budget by 10 per cent with a goal of eventually cutting it 50 per cent cinched the deal for me
3) He's reasonably pro-life (more than McCain).
